"In ten days time, we will be going on holiday". To me "days" is not possessive with respect to time. I think of it as: "In a time of 10 days, we will..." Personally, I try not to use the expression "... days time" because it is redundant (and very old-fashioned) although it is still heard. It is enough to simply say: Web10 days from now.
